Erroll Garner - My Silent Love (1957)

This trio recording was one of the two filler tracks included on Swinging Solos, the other being The Music Goes 'Round and 'Round from 1952; why Columbia didn't use any of the other five numbers from the February 6 1957 session is not clear. Anyway, on June 7 1957 Erroll joined up with old pals Al Hall, on bass, and Specs Powell, on drums, to produce this gem, a fine rendition of Dana Suesse's tune - a great favourite of Erroll's, and eighteen others. This is this channel's final upload of the
